The Honorable Marco Rubio

Re: U.N. Arms Trade Treaty

Dear Senator Rubio:
Once again the United Nations is working on passing THE UNITED NATIONS ARMS TRADE TREATY. If passed it will not become binding on the United States unless ratified by the U.S. Senate. Many of the gun lobbies, for and against, are ramping up to plead their cases. However, if we look at this from the right prospective it is apparent that gun control is actually a secondary issue.

The U.N. Arms Trade Treaty is no more about guns than Obama Care is about health care, they are both about control. If our senate ratifies this we will be giving away to a foreign entity the power over our laws and way of life.

Many times in the past, even when we agree with the issue, we have not ratified U.N. Treaties when it would infringe on our right to govern ourselves. Many of the American general public is not aware we did not sign off on many portions of the Geneva Convention, we did not sign off on many of the U.N. Treaties involving land mines and use of chemical weapons. Why, because we would not give away our right to govern ourselves. Some of these issues we agree with, but will not stand for a foreign government or organization dictating our laws.

This U.N. Arms Trade Treaty should be also treated for what it is, a chance to gain control over the United States.

Sincerely,

Nashua NH readers…..

Written by chuck on August 12, 2012 – 7:12 am -

The note below is from a long time blog reader for friends that liver near Nashua NH.

My grandmother is passing soon with cancer. I visited her the other day and she was telling me about how she really wanted soup, but not hospital soup because she said it tasted “awful” she went on about how she really would like some clam chowder from Panera. Unfortunately Panera only sells clam chowder on Friday. I called the manager Sue and told them the situation. I wasn’t looking for anything special just a bowl of clam chowder. Without hesitation she said absolutely she would make her some clam chowder. When i went to pick it up they wound up giving me a box of cookies as well. Its not that big of a deal to most, but to my grandma it meant a lot. I really want to thank Sue and the rest of the staff from Panera in Nashua NH just for making my grandmother happy. Thank you so much!

Ed is the one who posts a lot of political and fun stuff. He has not been posting since last week because his phone and Interent is down.

When he comes back on line, ask him how he feel about AT&T!

The election is over….he won….and I am getting tired of the campaigning. He doesn’t have to be on tv every day and his idiot press man doesn’t need to have a press conference every day. He never says anything so I can’t figure the importance to his being on. I am tired of hearing that the great one went on Jay Leno’s show. Tired of hearing about his Wednesday nite cocktail parties and even tired ot hearing that Michelle is planting a garden.
Thanks, for letting me vent. I feel a little better now.

Chuck,

I know by now that you have seen the 165 M. bonus “scandal” at AIG. I cannot believe the nerve of these executives that think that they deserve a bonus for the way that they have driven their company into the ground, taken taxpayers’ money as a bailout, and have basically stolen money from all the American People who have been insured through them.

It is an outrage to me and I often wonder how many other companies and corporations are doing the same behind all of our backs. I am sure that the medical insurance is the same way as well as home owners and auto insurance companies. I see it in the rates I pay. Where is our voice in all of this?

It is a shame that “We the People” no longer have a voice in anything. I am tired of paying taxes to bail out corporate giants and lazy ass people who do not want to work, and expect us to pay for them. Since our current president wants to do this, let him pay for it out of his own pocket and leave mine alone.

Big business runs the country and the government, and I have no doubt about that. I hope that all these 19-25 Year olds who voted for NObama are happy.

Thank God that I still have a job and I still have a check coming in, and I pray that many hard working people that are without a job soon find something. This country has been built by hard working Americans and has been protected by the Greatest Military in the world. I served my time and am grateful for those that are serving now.

I may be a register Democrat, but that does not mean I vote Dem., I vote for the most qualified and that sure is not who is in office now.

Just another disgruntled taxpayer,

Ned
