Obama Serves 14-State Governors With Warnings of Arrest: And why is this not front page news?

Barack Hussein Obama had served 14-State Governors in the United States, National Security Letters (NSLs) warning that the Governor’s actions in attempting to form “State Defense Forces” needs to be halted “immediately” or they will face arrest for the crime of treason. The employment of NSLs was authorized by the Patriot Act introduced by George W. Bush. Contained within the section related to these letters, it is forbidden for anyone receiving a NSL warning to even acknowledge the existence of said communication.

I’m watching Obama on TV….. and switching between CNN and MSNBC. The President is about to speak about the tragedy in Boston. It is terrible.

Let’s hope and pray we see a DEMAND for much tighter restrictions on the purchase of pressure cookers. It is time to DEMAND background checks on ALL sales of pressure cookers….. new and used. It is time to make it a felony to sell a used pressure cooker in garage sales. We MUST have them sold only with appropriate Federal and state background checks.

AND…. It is NOW time to build a national registration system for all owners of pressure cookers, listing the serial numbers of ALL pressure cookers….. and a disposal system to make sure we can track ALL such devices.

AND….. it is way past time for Obama Care to begin asking routinely…… for ALL patients…… Do you have a pressure cooker in your home? And…. If the answer is correct… demand a follow up…. Make sure they are registered…. And make sure there are appropriate measures taken to keep ALL pressure cooker out of the hands of folks who have NOT been properly trained in the proper use of pressure cookers.

After the capture of the second Boston bombing suspect, President Obama gave a Friday-night speech to praise private citizens and law-enforcement officials. He called the bombers “terrorists” and said, “They failed because the people of Boston refused to be intimidated. They failed because, as Americans, we refused to be terrorized.”

Good, strong stuff — before he ruined it. Obama’s uplifting tone suddenly shifted into peevish scold as he warned against a rush to judgment “about the motivations of these individuals” or “entire groups of people.”

He continued: “One of the things that makes America the greatest nation on Earth . . . is that we welcome people from all around the world — people of every faith, every ethnicity, from every corner of the globe. So as we continue to learn more about why and how this tragedy happened, let’s make sure that we sustain that spirit.”

My immediate reaction was loud and unprintable. Reading the transcript in the light of day didn’t help.

To put it kindly, the president is stuck in deep denial. Shadow-boxing against the truth, he can’t bring himself to say “Muslim terrorists.”

To do so would, in his mind, feed a stereotype and fuel innate American prejudice. So reality must be avoided and important facts omitted about the extraordinary events in Boston. Liberal pieties dictate that the praise for American resilience is mere prelude to a warning against our lesser angels.

The scolding diminished a moment of national pride by suggesting that Islam played no role in the worst terror attack on American civilians since 9/11. Those who think Islam matters are regarded as bigots.

Obama’s not fooling anybody except himself. The ties between terrorism and radical Islam won’t disappear because he refuses to see them.

The speech was another missed opportunity for straight talk that is not nearly as toxic as the president imagines. He could easily acknowledge the bombers’ drift to radicalization while still cautioning against stereotypes. He could say they apparently were motivated by jihadists while stressing that not all Muslims are terrorists.

What is this final chance? Will the Republicans step up to the plate and do what is necessary?

Yes, the election is over – but remember, a presidential election in America is not by popular vote. We vote for the candidate, but what we are really doing is voting for the electors who will meet on the Monday after the second Wednesday in December.

That is when the actual re-election of the president occurs.

Is there a way to stop this?

Yes, there is.

And the best part – this is totally constitutional.

The 12th Amendment of the Constitution as well as Article II of the Constitution govern the Electoral College.

According to the 12th Amendment, for the Electoral College to be able to select the president, it must have a quorum of two-thirds of the states voting. If enough states refuse to participate, the Electoral College will not have a quorum. If the Electoral College does not have a quorum or otherwise cannot vote or decide, then the responsibility for selecting the president and vice president devolves to the Congress.

The House of Representatives selects the president and the Senate selects the vice president.

Since the Republicans hold a majority in the House, presumably they would vote for Mitt Romney, and the Democrats in the Senate would vote for Joe Biden for vice president.

It’s all over!

I tried my best to relay information about the current president of the US. He couldn’t tell the truth if he tried. As far as the american people are concerned, like Ron White says, “You can’t fix Stupid”. By some thin chance, if there is anything left to fix in this country, we can try again in 2016. I’m just wondering if there is anyone bad enough who will run then. Maybe Jimmy Carter may run again. Since we let a foreigner run this time, we might as well let a Chinese run.

Unless some miracle happens, this will be my last POLITICAL POST.
