Oh yeah this is good. I do find this very amusing. so now we are going to be beholding to Saudi ideals? after the last 40 years? part of the problem as I see it we have been playing both sides of the fence. on 9/11 15 of the hijackers are from Saudi Arabia, did we attack them NO cause they are our friends. and of course Israel is also our friend. this is just as good as when JFK was voted in and the pope was to be giving orders to JFK. on a scale of conspiracy theories not bad but not very creative and not very well thought out. f you believe this then maybe you need to read books instead of burning them. this man as reports of someone telling him O said he was Muslim. I remember someone else telling us Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and was part of 9/11, and the only thing we found was a way to lose 4500+ of our loved ones, damage and or maim thousands more and spend a trillion or so of treasure for ? what cheap Oil? nope didn’t get that. peace in the middle East? nope wrong there also. so tell me why I should believe this guy? does he want us to go to war with Islam? and why would he?

good to see you back “in form”, Cat – where, by the way, do we get any inkling from the post or video about book reading versus book burning, other than your propensity to resort to name-calling??

without invoking “the last eight years”, you DID manage to impugn Prez GWB for the war that the Democratically-controlled Congress approved, based on the same intelligence estimates that the Prez had, yet no one blames Congress for getting us into the war, only Bush

as far as not going after the Saudis, as with any other attacker, one goes for the head, not the extremities, and so our attention was focused on a Saudi who knew better than to go back to his own nation and chose to hide in Afghanistan

JFK did NOTHING to belie his background and his heritage, and his life was an open book as opposed to Obama’s iron wall of secrecy and misdirection; JFK never kowtowed to any other leader, and always stood tall in representing American values and virtues wherever he went; to compare the O-Messiah with JFK is ludicrous and a travesty

as for WMD, Saddam had them, Saddam had used them before, and Saddam threatened to use them again; the fact that they were apparently scuttled before we got to them [thanks to UN inaction - or possible complicity - for 12 years] does not render the intelligence estimates and international observations invalid

as to the purpose of the war in Iraq – cheap oil has never been the intent, although it is a favorite horse to ride for the unthinking left because it is so convenient; it was initially to repel an invasion of another country [Kuwait] and then to depose a threatening government that oppressed and massacred its own people in order to establish a representative one, a strategy which, according to all reports, is beginning to bear fruit; making such a huge change in philosophy and outlook, and then implementing it is not like making instant pudding- there is no quick fix, but staying the course and preparing the people for self-rule eventually can succeed

but good to see you back “in form” although very predictably not “informed”

This video just show me that there is a global population that is growing that thinks Obama is a Muslim.
We saw this from all the mideast folks including ahmadinijad and quadaffi have made the same public statements.
Obama claims to be christian – - if you can call Rev. Wright Christian.
Yet the National prayer breakfast…out golfing – this event has been constant going back to Carter! But the Ramadan Dinner? Wouldn’t miss that!
Boy Scouts Centennial (sure there will be a bicentennial too) but Obama had to go on the View.
NewYork Times (that Conservative Rag right Cat? Interviews Obama, and quotes him that he recites – - in Perfect Arabic the evening muslim call to prayer. Tells the interviewer that “There is no more beautiful sound on earth” – But really he is Christian?!
He Wrote in ‘Dreams of my Father’ of his travels in Pakistan in the 80′s and made the statement “That should the political winds change, I will stand with the Muslims”

So he has staked his territory. So while he can SAY he is a Christian, his writings interviews and actions say otherwise.

As far as Bowing – - this idiot bows to everyone! The Japanese Emperor is NOT a Muslim, and by the way neither is the Emperor’s wife whom he also bowed to. Obama is just another Jimmy Carter Class A ‘Wuss’ out on the apeasment tour.

Zoomie I thought that the republicans controlled congress and the senate. as far as folks that ok’d the war the second one not the first one. well the dem’s are and unless they grow a spine, are jellyfish (yes I know I should’nt compare but that is the nicest way I can do it without using words that should not be used in public). but I still want to hear what the conservatives and the republicans have done that has been good for the people, or what they have done that as been Right. if he is a Muslim so what. dont we have the first amendment? and should it be an issue? if you believe in the Constitution then why is this an issue? if he gets the economy going and brings us back to the moral high ground that we fell off of with the past and current moral cowards. Zoomie after several excuses it ended being that Saddam was a threat to the US. ust like Nicaragua was in the 80′s. just waiting for the right wing death squads to start over running Iraq. Is Obama the answer to everyone questions? NO. not even me. I do disagree with some of his policies NOT all of them. but all the conservatives are right we should have wealth distribution but with the rich getting the money. the working dont need it. I am also waiting for the so-called conservatives to get into office and send us deeper into debt with their version of big government and no taxes. and I have also seen the videos that the muslims are having more kids than the americans and the lighter skinned folks might be a minority.

But do the Mullah’s out stoning people to death after trials without attorneys represent the move to the Moral High ground you wish to see?
The justice they represent are right from Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”….”There’s one in the spotlight..he don’t look right to me! get him up against the wall”

Since we are going for classic rock references ;-)

DrDirt why would we go that direction? and the reference to “The Wall” seems a bit more the way conservatives would want to me. one of the few differences between the conservatives in this country and the others countries are different religions. to me it would be just another righteous pinhead in power.

Don’t let facts get in the way of your argument – Adolf was a progressive -
    Outlaw guns
    National Healthcare
100% employment to earn your ration card
and Eugenics – which was big with Woodrow Wilson, and Roosevelt, and the big lefty George Bernard Shaw, who famously “Asked his scientist friends to develop a humane gas chamber to weed out the undesirables” These are the same folks who mandated sterilization for the mentally disabled and ‘imbeciles’

Civil Rights act was originally under Dwight Eisenhower in 1957! But the ‘teeth were removed’ known as section 3 that had enforcement in it.
Of Course STROM THURMOND WAS A DEMOCRAT when he filibustered it and the Senate majority leader blocked it until it was stripped down.
WHo was that Senate Majority leader ?? that woudl be Lyndon Johnson who takes credit now for the 1964 civil rights…. so they block it under the republican leadership of Eisenhower then pass it under Johnson.
The Klan is full of democrats – including the now deceased Robert Byrd of WVa. Good luck reading some history

oh I think you are wrong about Adolf. otherwise why would some of the white supremacists become part of the tea party, conservative, and republican groups? they are not fans of any kind of the Dems. or is that not part of the Glenn beck U teaching? now the latest polls show that the 54% or so hate Muslims and these are supposed to be the so called right thinking type folks.but what do I know. now we have some of the of the real hatemongers and the fear mongers telling people that the muslims are the cause or we should hate them because they are different. as far as the outlaw guns show me proof please I just think it is more fear-mongering.

White supremacist Tea Party…Thats Rich, or do you mean the former Obama campaign worker that goes to the Ralleys so that you can catch a photo …honestly in a Tin Foil Hat!
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4bpgnkNN7Q

The Klan is founded and run by the democrats:
    Historian Eric Foner observed:

In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic party, the planter class, and all those who desired restoration of white supremacy. Its purposes were political, but political in the broadest sense, for it sought to affect power relations, both public and private, throughout Southern society. It aimed to reverse the interlocking changes sweeping over the South during Reconstruction: to destroy the Republican party’s infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern life.[27]

    Not Beck –
Why dont you Wiki “Eugenics” – Oregon (NOT conservative) still did sterilization in 1978 and took til 1983 to repeal their law.
In the USA, eugenic supporters included Theodore Roosevelt,[79] the National Academy of Sciences,[80] and the National Research Council.[81] Research was funded by distinguished philanthropies and carried out at prestigious universities.[82] It was taught in college and high school classrooms.[83] Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood of America to urge the legalization of contraception for poor, immigrant women.[84] In its time eugenics was touted by some as scientific and progressive,[85] the natural application of knowledge about breeding to the arena of human life. Before the realization of death camps in World War II, the idea that eugenics would lead to genocide was not taken seriously by the average American.

The Negro Project conspiracy theory is an alleged eugenics program. The project, according to proponents of the theory, was originated by Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger and supposedly aims to reduce or eliminate the black population through use of abortion.[86] Although the U.S. state of Oregon did not repeal its forced sterilization law until 1983, the last known forced sterilization there was performed in 1978.[87]

Fear Mongering?? You lefties and your ‘benevolent’ New World Order.

Drdirt it is good but that may have been in the past but in the predominant areas the Klan operates seem to me a bit more of the republican leaning folks. Oregon is a bit of a strange state. in the past was against any Chinese folks in some towns but is suppose to be liberal. now the town is more inclusive(should be, haven’t been in a long while). to me the eugenics argument is garbage. it as been trotted out for years from all sorts of folks. (so has any one you know have been forced to not have children?) we all have know people that shouldn’t have animals/pets at minimum let alone children. but until the evil forces turn us into some dystopia nightmare society, I would say you argument falls on its face. and yes I will shout from the roof tops about the right is using fear to win votes and make people afraid of their own shadows. for a short time I did suffer from BDS (bush derangement syndrome) I think the newest version is ODS (Obama derangement syndrome).

Cat: are you actually, at the end of your unfocused ramble, asking someone to show you proof of the historically-established fact that the German government under Hitler selectively enforced heavy restrictions on the private ownership of weapons while allowing no restriction on approved Nazi party members, that the Nazi party passed a law specifically in 1938 to not allow any Jews to own guns or work in any indiustry that had access to guns, that prevented anyone under the age of 18 from owning guns, that required additional licensing for handguns? Or are you implying that the whole guncontrol Hitler thing is just as made up as the Holocaust? [said tongue-in-cheek; I know that the Holocaust is true but your "reach" strains credulity to the point of allowing me to extrapolate that you might be a "non-believer"]
