Double byte character set characters appear corrupted in IE on XP

If you browse a web site that uses Shift-JIS character encoding in IE, some DBCS characters may appear corrupted (that is, they don’t display as they’re supposed to). This happens when you’ve installed SP2 and another hotfix. There is a file you can download to fix the problem. For instructions on how to obtain it, see KB article 886677 at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/886677/en-us
