Phishers exploit call forwarding to steal your information
Written by Ed on May 27, 2008 – 11:00 pm -A new form of phishing attack has emerged recently, in which identity thieves send an email that attempts to trick you into forwarding your calls to the phisher’s own phone number after supposedly updating your personal information with your bank (actually with the phisher’s site). Now if the bank calls you about suspicious transactions, the phisher can intercept the call. Always be on the lookout for these types of scams.

Even though I honor and don’t envy the troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, I feel the Vietnam Vets really got a shaft. They were never honored for their devotion, hard work and suffering. Written by chuck on May 26, 2008 – 8:09 pm -The body of a second swimmer believed to have drowned this weekend in the gulf has yet to be recovered. According to the Panama City Beach police, a male from Trussville, Alabama is still missing in the Gulf and the search continued Monday.
