Written by chuck on November 29, 2007 – 7:01 am -The Alabama Cullman County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the animal cruelty case reported Nov. 18. A beagle named Anne was skinned alive on her back and sides. She was later euthanized. Another beagle owned by the family, Buttercup, also suffered minor cuts.
Sad…very sad.

As I said previously with Mr. Vick, people who are sick enough to do something like this deserve a dose of their own medicine.
Instead of jail time, Mr. Vick should be thrown in a pit with just ONE [1] dog at a time. Heal his wounds from that fight, a couple of weeks later toss the miserable SOB in the pit again with another pit bull. Continue the regiment until Mr. Vick can NOT fight anymore, then HANG him for being WORTHLESS !!! The person who skinned this beagle alive should also be skinned alive and staked out on an RED ANT HILL until the ants eat him alive. TIT FOR TAT !!!!!!!

OH MY GOD!! Just reading the summary was more than I could take…I can’t even begin to bring myself to read the story. I cannot imagine anyone being so cruel to a helpless gentle animal that just wants to be loved. If I have said it once, I have said it a million times; we are a vicious, dirty, filthy, greedy species that takes without asking, kills without conscience, uses without regard for others.

I disagree with Bonnie, we are a society thats tolerates vicious, dirty, filthy, greedy people that takes without asking, kills without conscience, uses without regard for others. While the percentages do seem to be increasing, there are very few people that act this way. The rest of us just don’t care enough to do anything about it.
