Customizing Windows XP’s General Tab

Launch Notepad and type the following text, replacing the dummy information shown here with your own:
[General]
Manufacturer=Ed’s Computers
Model=Jacko’s
[Support Information]
Line1=Call 555-1212 for sexual support
Line2=Call 555-1212 for hemorrhoid support
Line3=Call 555-1212 for testical support
Line4=Call 555-1212 for technical support
Save the file in the C:\Windows\System32 folder as Oeminfo.ini.
To add your logo to the General tab, create a 256-color BMP file that is 96 by 96 pixels in size.
Save the file in the C:\Windows\System32 folder as Oemlogo.bmp.

I should have made comment about this. This would be more for a business that had multiple computers like laptops that are used by employees who may leave them at a jobsite. Or you are a builder of computers and want to advertise or remind people where they bought it. Now do you get the idea, Chuck?
