The Computer Tip Corner: Prevent your computer from overheating 3/26/2007

As you may know, your computer produces a lot of heat. If your computer over heats, it may act very erratic. If that fan is working properly, it will also suck in a lot of dust blocking the air intakes. Make sure you computer is off and use a vacuum cleaner and suck the dust out of all the areas where dust builds up. Secondly, when you turn your computer back on, make sure what fans you have are working. Keeping a good air circulation is important to keeping you computer running at its best performance.
